When Apple launched the iPhone 4, it has completely revolutionized the phone as compared to the earlier versions. Just few weeks back, Apple has unveiled the iOS 5 and of course it is now for the developers only . But is nothing bad to know the all new 200+ features added to this new version . This Operating System somewhat demonstrates technologies that are way years ahead .
AdrianCJY.com wouldn’t be covering up all the features but of course those that are must have and most significantly improved will be written up below, let’s see what’s first on the list ..
1. Notification Center

Appears right in front your screen at the top region no matter where you are and what you are doing . Just slide down from top to bottom and you will see your notifications . Just swipe on the notification item and you jump straight away into the app .
2. Newsstand

Your favorite magazines are all on the go . You will get all the latest issues with the magazines you have subscribed.
3. Reminders

It’s a totally handy to-do-list that you can get . It helps you manage task and keep on top of all the things that you have to do . It syncs with iCloud and Outlook across all your iOS devices . Additionally, it also features the location-based reminder where it can reminds you to do something upon arriving a place or leaving a place . Isn’t that cool ?
4. Twitter

Twitter is directly integrated into iOS 5 and what you have to do is only sign in once for all your Twitter-enabled apps . You can tweet directly from Photos, Safari, YouTube and others . Likewise the standalone app of Twitter, you can just do the same by tapping on the “Add Location” button to add in your location information .
5. Safari

iOS 5 brings even more web-browsing features to iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Safari Reader displays web articles sans ads or clutter so you can read without distractions. Reading List lets you save interesting articles to peruse later, while iCloud keeps your list updated across all your devices. On iPad, tabbed browsing helps you keep track of multiple web pages and switch between them with ease. And iOS 5 improves Safari performance on all your iOS devices. Safari now also enables private browsing when you can go incognito .
6. Camera

Since your iPhone is always with you, it’s often the best way to capture those unexpected moments. You can open the Camera app right from the Lock screen. Use grid lines, pinch-to-zoom gestures, and single-tap focus and exposure locks to compose a picture on the fly. Then press the volume-up button to snap your photo in the nick of time. If you have Photo Stream enabled in iCloud, your photos automatically download to all your other devices.
7. Email
What else ? Are you the type of person always out from the office and depends a lot on your iPhone to check on emails, well here’s some integration made . With iOS 5, email supports rich text editing (bold, italics, underline) and there is even a better system to separate the QWERTY keyboard on iPads.
8. WiFi Sync
Wirelessly sync your iOS device to your Mac or PC over a shared Wi-Fi connection. Every time you connect your iOS device to a power source (say, overnight for charging), it automatically syncs and backs up any new content to iTunes. So you always have your movies, TV shows, home videos, and photo albums everywhere you want them.
9. iMessage

Providing you the convenient way to text within SMS, Emails and any other i-Devices. It’s just like your real time chatting on IM that you can see when your friend is typing .
10 PC-Free

Independence for all iOS devices. With iOS 5, you no longer need a computer to own an iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch. Activate and set up your device wirelessly, right out of the box. Download free iOS software updates directly on your device. Do more with your apps — like editing your photos or adding new email folders — on your device, without the need for a Mac or PC. And back up and restore your device automatically using iCloud.
Note : iOS is compatible with iPhone 3Gs and iPhone 4 .
From our analytical point of view, Apple Inc. is launching the new iOS 5 and together with the iCloud features is just part and parcel of telling iPhone users “do not jailbreak your iPhone” . Well, they are trying their best to provide all the possible features that can be found currently in a jailbroken iPhone like the Notification Center (in current jailbroken iPhone: LockInfo) and for real time text messaging by iMessage (in current jailbroken iPhone: WhatsApp, Viber and etc) . Not to forget also WiFi-sync is now possible and the apps could be downloaded via Cydia on a jailbroken iPhone
We are very sure there are other features which we did not mention, do share with us ..

the notification and iMessage are definitely what iPhone users mainly want, i guess :)
Yup !! exactly .. I love that ..
