Using BitComet with Firefox

let’s see! BitComet until today, even the latest version has not been supporting Mozilla Firefox. Unlike Internet Explorer (which appear to be lagging sometimes especially loading large capacity content), BitComet can be used to download files by just right clicking and choose “Download All with BitComet”.

So let’s see how you can integrate FF with BitComet.

Step 1:
Launch BitComet from your computer

Step 2:
Minimize it and ignore its existence as a running program

Step 3:
Load the page where you desire to download your file from and right click

Step 4:
Choose “Copy Link Location..” or press “A” from your keyboard

Step 5:
Wait 1 second and the BitComet Download Panel will pop out with the link you copies into the clipboard

Step 6:
Click “Start Download”

Note:
Please enable “”Capture Clipboard URL” by right clicking on the semi-transparent / solid icon of BitComet (will be on top-right corner usually after minimizing the application)
