Well Ms Irene said she wanted to come to my house to pass me something around 10 who knows she was still in the AGM when I called her. So I decided to tell her that I was not free and went out with mom to Jusco to get some groceries and stuff to cook for lunch later. Going to have sausages and burger for lunch.. Tried doing BENJOL but was kinda failure to me..

Watched TV with grandma after lunch until 3.30 then I started using my laptop to reply emails.. Later around 4 + before I left for KL Baptist Church, I went to pasar ramadhan with mom.. Bought some kuih and of course when I say kuih, it’s seri muka for sure.. LOL Left house after I showered around 5.. Went over to Senso to get something before headed to pick up lennard.. I used the PGRM way instead of MRR2 which was kinda jammed up that time according to news traffic..

After picking up lennard, we were the earliest to reach KLBC around 7pm.. Thought it might be cool coz just need to wait half an hour. Who knows ding dong ding dong.. We went in at 815 when Edmund and TC came over from Low Yat.. Guess how we killed those time. Went to eat steamboat (lok lok), then go to have herbal tea, then back to some stall to have dessert then only we went into the church.. Didn’t get to meet ruth by then coz she was already inside.. We had fun for the 3 hours inside but it would be better if ADORE featured a drama or short play like last year. As usual, Ruth gave strong and powerful yet meaningful speech… Praise god..

Before leaving for the event, I went over to say hi to Ruth.. Missed her so much.. gave her a hug and I left. Supper was at Jalan Alor again.. Me and Lennard was kinda phobia coz we had quite a stomache during the concert and we suspect was the lok lok.. Anyway, I still had Fried Rice which cost me RM 6.50 for such a small portion.. We left around 12..

Dropped Ivan, Dante, TC and Edmund off their car and i fetched lennard home. I reached house around 12.30 then started booming.. LOL lennard would know what I am talking about.. I shall keep total silence since AS and UM were already asleep.. Anyway, we had fun at ADORE … Good night and God blessed everyone..

Latest update as of 3rd August 2010 – I got all the songs of Secondhand Serenade new Hear Me Now album.. Love it so much …

Launching 3rd of August 2010.. The previous album by Secondhand Serenade was A Twist in My Story.. The song “Fall for You” went platinum and I personally love this emo song. Even John Vesely on his mySpace profile written it as EMO genre..

Do people still listen to emo music? I suppose they do must because Dashboard Confessional is still making music and Secondhand Serenade’s radio smash “Fall For You” went platinum. I personally can’t see why we need any more lines like “My eyes feel like they’re bleeding” and the vocals of John Vesely—the man behind Secondhand Serenade—just sound contrived and phony desperate to me. But whether or not I think we need more music from Vesely is beside the point because his third release, “Hear Me Now” is being released without my input.

“Hear Me Now” is characterized by mediocre emo-pop ballads and a heaping of the most stereotypical, tear-your-heart-out-in-the-middle-school-bathroom sound imaginable, but there are surprising moments that manage to transcend the tackiness. The first track “Distance” is a typical soaring emo ballad with lyrics that sound juvenile, uninspired, and recycled as Vesely sings “I swear I’m sorry/Please don’t hate me too.” The next track, “Something More” however, is a poignant prodding of life’s purpose—hardly a new subject matter, but everyone’s entitled to their chance to untangle it—accompanied by genre-blending R&B beats. The title track “Hear Me Now” is incredibly angst-ridden, but carries integrity and believability that other songs lack. The song also has changes in tempo and feel that add to the song’s interest.

If you can’t get enough of emo music, doubtless you’ll enjoy the most recent offering by the radio’s favorite emo act. For the rest of us who enjoy most of life and are happy to leave junior high behind, we’ll probably just skip over it.

Here’s something I did few years back with the album songs..

MAYBE it is A TWIST IN MY STORY that i had just FALLen FOR YOU. Without knowing you have been LIKE A KNIFE that hurt me unintentionally. I PRETEND-ed everything was fine but i think after all i SUPPOSED I’m making it worse. WHY is this happening.. I never received YOUR CALL or sms anymore.. Everyday just a “hi” and GOODBYE. You think that’s enough? That’s up to you.. Now, I’m like a STRANGER in your life and we are so far apart.. MAYBE you would just tell me I’m thinking too much.. that’s what i told myself too and that’s a total lie to myself though.. Please just for once.. Just for once STAY CLOSE, DON’T GO.. i don wanna lose this friend i cherished our friendship alot.. Is this THE LAST SONG EVER we are gonna sing together? I really hope not..

Just like 2 years back, the DISTANCE between YOU & I did not get closer after SO LONG that you were trying to STAY AWAY from me, things that happened was like a NIGHTMARES and the ONLY HOPE i have now is you do good, REACHING FOR THE SKY, going after your dream. YOU ARE still like A DRUG to me sometimes but the WORLD TURNS no matter what and I have to wake up. We live our own life now but I can feel SOMETHING MORE is within us. IS ANYBODY OUT THERE gonna be for us? We are yet to find out and i hope you HEAR ME NOW that no matter what you are or who you are, you are still the one I knew. I will be yours if none of anybody are for us out there.

Although it’s sunday, i still wake up early. Wow!! It was around 830 when I woke up so i still manage to do some exercise then got shower to have a light breakfast. Today’s breakfast menu – Ju Chiong Fun from Kepong Baru Market.

Then started to play those CD’s in the HT System. Wow i fell in love with the CD bought yesterday in Popular. The whole box sex which consists of 6 pieces and it cost only RM 59.90.. And it’s original set though. You shall expect no latest track in it but genres are quite diversified, ranging from jazz, blues, modern rock and etc. Artist ranges from Madonna, Air Supply, John Groban, Bread, Chicago, The Corrs. Michael Learns to Rock, Christopher Cross, Faith Hill, Daniel Powter and others.

Of course, I didn’t finish all 6 CD’s in one day. Continued my day with some work on my notebook. The streamyx connection is down today, yes AGAIN!! I felt so pissed off that they are not able to help this time, claiming it’s the SMW4 problem. They would have be able to divert the traffic and not keep in congested in the local Malaysia server. But they didn’t want to. I survived whole day on my HTC WiFi Router like yesterday connected to the Maxis HSDPA.

And was going through some Java slides too. I hope tomorrow’s JP’s lab session wouldn’t be as bored as the previous one. And please, don’t keep repeating the same thing over the 1-hour class..Went out for lunch after that with Eric at the Kepong Entrepreneurs Park, ate Chicken Rice, Char Siew and Siu Yoke (the following 2 pictures are non-halal, my apologies to my muslim readers)

Came back after lunch and the streamyx is still not restored yet. Still surviving on my Maxis HSDPA. Anyway, i took a short nap only dinner time. At night just watch TV and DVD – 72 Tenants of Prosperity with family. I know it’s kinda late but I don’t really fancy chinese movie, just tag along and watch it since mom got the DVD from her friend. Grandma loved it though.

I went pick up si and kokwai then david and hx. then we headed to Gardens. It was a surprise party so called for Andy coz MunYan told him no one is free. Especially i told him personally i will be outstation.

Anyway, something weird happened, ZH was late eventually. He woke up late. Before going to Red Box, we went to get cakes and cupcakes for andy. Cake sense though. The cake makes me a bit bloated to be honest.

It was a great long session till 3PM. Hope andy had a nice birthday this year. He is 22 btw.. shhh

After that all of us went home. At night, went to cheras a while and then collect some stuff from jusco near my house. Got myself a roll hehe =] then dinner with mom in chandran.

Last, before i sleep, which i think is gonna take me few hours. Need to set up new website, domain, ftp, blog, customization and bla bla bla for someone. Will reveal it when it is up . Good night to guys now while i continue i work.

Waking in the morning feeling like P.Diddy. Yeap it’s TikTok from Ke$ha. This was the song that woke me up early in the morning around 9am today. Woke up took a butter bun, then started to use the Internet. Went to KL with dad to make payment for the tour agency. It was malaysia harmony. It’s quite a good tour company to go for tour but that guy named Michael really pissed me off. Keep asking to pay. As we sat down, he already took out his receipt book. Come on!!! That’s not the way to market your company’s products and services. So just a hint everyone, if you are there to get some information for any of your upcoming trip, please get Anthony or Joe, they are much more helpful. He gave all the wrong information and other colleagues had to correct us. Not just once or twice, thrice.. First was the wrong tour package plan, second wrong information on Visa Application, and third was the mischarge over our payment.

After that, went to Cheras to pick Auntie Shereen up, we are going to Penny Tai’s concert later in the evening . Hehe.. before came home, we went to Taman Connaught for lunch – Pan Mee. Superb!! And bought curry puff too. Took a nap and went up to Genting. Since it’s going to the concert, I didn’t bring my notebook up. And also, yeah! Thanks a lot Stephanie, you are indeed a good organizer for this concert. Genting didn’t waste their financial resources in assigning you for this.

Thanks Dad for the free tickets. Overall, there are many songs by her that i didn’t know. Just one or two of her old old songs. Penny had been in this industry for 10 years and she had remained herself as a humble girl. Her mom was very proud of her when she played back one of the interview by crew with her mom. Anyway to me, maybe I am not too into chinese music so that performance was not really my cup of tea but, keep it up though.
