Opera Mini 5 Beta
Article Last Updated : 17 November 2009 @ 15:18 by Adrian

I believe mobile users are quite familiar with Opera Mini browser that can be installed on your Java-enabled platform. Let’s see what is Opera Mini browser if you have no idea, here’s one: Opera Mini is a web browser designed primarily for mobile phones, but also for smartphones and personal digital assistants. It uses the Java ME platform and consequently requires that the mobile device be capable of running Java ME applications. Opera Mini is offered free of charge, supported through a partnership between its developer, the Opera Software company, and the search engine company Google.
And the BEST of this application is when you are browsing not with WiFi, let’s say maybe with a normal 3G GPRS from your service provider, with Opera Mini, it optimizes the images / contents downloaded to your phone and minimum data usage. Try it out
Over years of R&D by Opera, it has become the most popular mobile phone browser in the world, and on the 16th of September 2009, this Version 5 of Opera Mini browser has launched under BETA. With its prestigious performance, Opera Mini manged to embed an explosive growth for Opera Mini – usage up 157% year-over-year .
Where can you download this? Just use your phone defaulted Internet browser, enter “http://mini.opera.com”. Navigate to their website and choose on Beta Version. Test it out and help Opera Mini improve.

Anyway @tracey, its spelled Adrian.. small problem though. the opera can best optimize the download so that it uses up least data transfer possible. Glad you like it. It would work on most Java-enabled phones. omg i am talking tech language my friends always complain about it. anyway thanks for the support. spread the words!! support opera mini for mobile.. Go mini!!!!!!
