I didn’t eat much though coz was full and plus the fact that I am going to have lunch (probably) with Ms Hema at Taylor’s Lakeside Campus .. I am there second time this month and again my road walking from car park to the campus was blocked by that goose .. I just chase it away and cannot deny the fact that I am afraid of it .. Then, waited for Ms Hema at Starbucks .. We then went to Backofen .. Both me and Ms Hema had a great catch up with each other and had salads :)

Left around 2pm as Ms Hema had some reports to follow up while me, headed to Taylor’s Subang to pick up my brother .. While waiting, I got my QUT Timetable done at Starbucks .. And did some work there as well .. Starbucks is just the best when comes to Mobile Office ..

P/s the 2 most happy things about today – JunFook said I am so thin already (as compared to last time he saw me) while Ms Hema couldn’t recognize me from the back, the fact that I lost so much weight according to her :)

After working hard for the past one month, we are now finally proud to announce our new platform is ready for our clients . Thank you for those who had lend an helping hand over this . 1. Dashboard : Once you have submitted an support ticket via our website, administrators will be notified almost instantly . This help to solve problems from previous cases where clients did not get feedback due to their support email sent to us got stuck in their outbox . Now, once the support email is sent , clients will be notified with a support ID#. You can find this either on the bottom page of AdrianCJY.com or your [Dashboard] after you log in.

2. Invoices : Client can now log in to check their outstanding payment with AdrianCJY.com under [My Invoices].

3. Quotations : We are going green !! No more printing out quotations, sign and faxing it back to us . Just log in to check your quotations which are pending for signature . Go to [My Quotations] . If you have not sign it , just click on the [Sign] button .

Well, it was somewhere last week I showcased my humble new system which I named it AdrianCJY.com Manager App .. This web app will automate my current business for few purposes. Knowing very well I am the kind of person who easily get messed up with dealing with figures, that’s why this web app will help to simplify and generate all invoices and quotation with ease . Previously the front panel was something like this :

We have made it to be more interactive with our clients. Soon, each client will be given access to their own client area to view invoices, quotations and other items which we think are relevant to them later on . We have now currently over a month time, manage to get this web app up running so far bug free . For your information, all support tickets, invoices, quotation starting from 5 October 2011 has been computerized and reminder shall be sent out automatically to pending payment / invoices . If during the custom IPSW Restore / Update, you encounter error 3194, download TinyUmbrella at http://cache.firmwareumbrella.com/downloads/tinyumbrella-4.21.02.exe . Run the program as Administrator while connecting to your iPhone :

Step 2 : Than there shows Advance button tab on Advance for next process.

Why can’t they just mention all the charges in one single bill, clients which are not IT-background sometimes get confused with the bundled services . So what we did, I requested an EEP code to perform a migration from them to 1.com.my – my company I am currently working as Project Manager.

My client sent an email stated very clearly to request for EEP code, unlock domain lock status, disable WHOIS ID Protection and update DNS server, yet when their customer support replied, all they care was asking my client’s opinion on why moving out from them .. My client refused to share such information and requested again with the information and on top of that, she also stated clearly she do no wish to share any additional customer experience and do not wish the migration processed to be delayed.

At the same time, at my side as her registrar, I approach the live chat at E and requested to speed up . To my disappointment, with a live chat request and a clearly stated email , they still bother asking my client the reason she is moving out and being reluctant to not provide the EEP code .. So I would like to make a small heads up to all web hosting / domain name hosting client out there, YOU HAVE THE TOTAL RIGHTS TO REQUEST EEP CODE AND MOVE OUT FROM YOUR CURRENT REGISTRAR ANYTIME .. Here’s the first chat which did not resolve anything but continuously asking for feedback the second time ..

Look, retaining clients have never been easy but most importantly, instead of asking feedback and not fulfilling your clients requirements are even more annoying . At the end of the day, you (E) should realized how and what kind of services are you providing . Conclusion to this story, the EEP code was given after attempt of few times (not to mention in a harsh way, to prove to them we are not someone to be bullied) .. Also, my client wasted the initial renewal fee with them and was more than happy we could help her out to host it hassle-free..

Allow me to share the proper approach to migrate a hosting :
1. Request EEP Code from your current registrar / hosting company
2. Request to unlock domain status and disable WHOIS ID Protection (if any)
3. Confirm the changes with your new registrar / hosting company
4. Expected to receive an email from new registrar / hosting company to authorize hosting migration
5. Wait 4-7 days for successful migration

Well, after being in project management for quite some time, I have to admit that there are still a large space for me to improve on my project management skills but one thing that I have always find in clients and some colleagues or friends, they love to seek for attentions.

Enjoying the attentions from another third party is rather pleasurably acceptable but when the attention is getting too much over one object or a figure, it tends to lead to difficulties for third party to respond. Of course, when you are conducting, for example, a presentation session or rather a seminar, crowd control and audience attention captivation are both most important attributes, however, one shall not over exaggerate it.

Attention seeking, now, comes into the picture when the usual reserved scenarios are being over-done. Just put this in a daily life of everyone, how would you feel when you are always being with someone keep wanting attentions? To me, it is rather annoying.

Many experts have classified attention seeking as a disorder. Patients continuously require attention from people around them and primarily, they need total acknowledgements on what they are doing. The need for attention is paramount to the person with narcissistic personality disorder.

Another reason, it might be solely self-pleasuring. Patients felt more comfortable when their actions are being seen by third parties. In certain situation, this could also be a split personality disorder, whereby, it can be a metaphor to the literature – Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. To be honest, I do have clients who are this way. In the positive point of view, she might be portraying his / her ultimate professionalism towards his / her career and his / her private lifestyle. To me, it wasn’t anyhow an ideal work-around as I do not prefer to mask myself in work.

So yeah, these are just some of my thoughts solely from my humble brain and do not refer particularly to any friends / clients / acquaintances. Another reason of me changing the layout was to accommodate the Facebook Comment Plugin .. It took me quite some time to get it done .. Guys, girls !! Now, is even more hassle-free that once you are logged in with your Facebook account (which I think that is a automatic logged in feature whenever you are online) you can start commenting using your Facebook ID just like how you do Facebook comment .. See below, Dean tested it out with me .. Eka too .. Thanks to you guys bro !! *Wouldn’t be quote as someone that cannot do simple Facebook plugin ANYMORE*

1.com.my takes up projects, such as these two, in a manner that is oriented towards project management. Usually, in a website team, there is – a programmer, a designer, a web developer and a web support engineer. The web developer is the person who usually deals with the client.

In this particular project, however, we decided to take on a slightly different approach – the programmer, designer, developer and engineer are no longer overloaded with information on the changes to be made. Instead, we appointed a project manager, who not only oversees the development of the sites, but also informs the client on the pros and cons of every decision.

Clients often think that website updating is an easy task, but behind the scenes, there’s a lot of work to be done. Even after everything’s complete, there are still the multiple revisions to ensure that the client is fully satisfied with the results. The project manager keeps the ball rolling and ensures that it rolls smoothly. The project manager this time around was our very own Adrian Chow, who has been working with us for more than 2 years now.

One of the obstacles faced by our web development team is the difference in location. We work remotely, which means we are always on the go. This means we communicate via email – a lot! Still, it’s one of the most cost-effective and efficient ways to keep updated on projects (at least we think so!)

At the end of the day, with all the work being carried out collaboratively, we managed to meet the stringent deadline. It was indeed a happy ending for both the project manager, his team and the client.

Update #1 : It was refund after a hard attack on her. She claimed that she has refund this afternoon which was not true, the transaction happened at night which was after the police report lodged ..

Update #2 : Seller’s refund was confirmed but yet she does not admit was her fault .. So take note people !! I am not saying anything, so read between the lines, only deal with seller who are honest and trustworthy .

YES !!! I am talking about fraud this time round .. Not the NuffNang Click Fraud or what so ever , it’s just my title of the post though . Anyway, here’s how it begins, my friend used to purchase contact lens via online, specifically communicating with the buyer through facebook (wow !! Facebook connects) and this time, she was being cheated .. Money was transferred , yet the product was not delivered ..

She tried calling her few times but the seller (Kerry Loh) did not respond to her call . She had got no choice but to make a police report . Not that she minds the small amount paid but it is something to be known by everyone that deals with her . Accordingly, my friend was not the only one who had the same experience but many others more . Probably that girl – Kerry was in need of money to spend and after all, she just took stole the money from her buyers . This is such an unethical act .

After the police report, my friend informed her that a police report has been lodged . She in fact replied in a threatening way – “PLEASE BEHAVE WHEN YOU TALK” .. As such words, she could just be filed as threatening to individuals . So guys, don’t get hypnotized just because a seller is beautiful, don’t judge a book by its cover.

I don’t think this would be a long post, just help to spread it away . KERRY LOH !! You are a loser . Karma exist ! What goes around, comes around and one day you might be in far worse situation whereby it cost you more than what money can buy . Look at her face and do not deal with such people anymore !!!

She ended the last message to my friend saying she doesn’t care !! Come on !! This is not the way to business !! You are the ultimate figure as someone portraying an uncivilized and immoral act .

Was there until 4 then went home. Took a bath and went out at 5 again to cheras to find auntie shereen .. Was the first CNY dinner (beside me with UC and AS last week)..

Left around 3 + and finally had my lunch in Najath Restaurant near my house.. Nicole the pig was lazy to accompany me.. so sad.. (ps I hate you pig!!!) Had nasi goreng ayam then I went home for a nap until 6 I woke up to send brother to tuition.. that’s just what I need to do when I am at home.. Hmmzz.

Titanic II is written and directed by Shane Van Dyke. Starring: Shane Van Dyke, Marie Westbrook, Bruce Davison and Brooke Burns. The people at The Asylum have done it again as we have yet another knock-off.

Shane Van Dyke (grandson of Dick Van Dyke) takes on triple duty this time as he stars, writes and directs this disaster? Joining him on the ill-fated voyage are some familiar faces including Brooke Burns, Bruce Davison (veteran actor recently in Camp Hell) and Marie Westbrook. (ps names were taken from WiKi, I can’t remember how to spell it correctly)

The movie begins with what I believe might be a movie first, global warming surfing. A guy jumps with his surfboard into the frigid waters near Greenland. He waits patiently for a large chunk of the glacier to fall into the water so he can ride the wave it creates. It only goes downhill from here. Maybe you guys have to understand the appeal from a budget standpoint to use a real ship from back in the day that is now permanently parked as a tourist attraction to stand in as our grand, new ship, but is it necessary to also include shots of the Russian submarine that is parked right next to it? I have seen people saying if you get a chance to go, do it. The ship is supposedly haunted, to boot. They even give a ghost tour.

Shane plays Hayden Walsh, CEO of Walsh Industries and host of what will be the maiden voyage timed up so that it will set sail on the 100th anniversary of the original Titanic. Also on board is Amy Maine, played by Marie Westbrook. Meanwhile her father, Captain James Maine of the Coast Guard (Bruce Davison) is up in Greenland at the request of a Dr. Patterson (Brooke Burns). Seems a really huge chunk of glacier is about to break away and fall into the ocean, creating a tsunami. They just finish their discussion about that very scenario when boom, it happens. Barely making it back to the chopper, they escape to the air and watch in horror at the wave created. The good captain realizes he must get to the ship to save his daughter.

[It won't be nice anymore if I say it all here.. watch it.. awesome.. for the faint hearted, there is a scene where Amy's friend got crunched in between a tightly-sealed chamber, watch it at your own risk >< don't faint..]

On the 100th anniversary of the original voyage, a modern luxury liner christened “Titanic 2,” follows the path of its namesake. But when a tsunami hurls an ice berg into the new ship’s path, the passengers and crew must fight to avoid a similar fate. Watch it and tell me what you feel, I don’t like the entire ending although Amy survived..

“The Expendables,” in case you couldn’t guess, are not urologists but top-of-the-line mercenaries whose motto is “If the money’s right, we don’t care what the job is.” Barney Ross (Stallone) is first among equals, followed by Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Yin Yang ( Jet Li), Gunnar Jensen ( Dolph Lundgren), Toll Road (mixed martial artist Randy Couture) and Hale Caesar (Terry Crews). Names, like the rest of the film, not to be taken seriously.

The gang is introduced by co-writers Stallone and David Callaham in a flashback involving the expeditious rescue of a group of hostages from Somali pirates. The Expendables turn out to have a penchant for bickering with one another, however, and Jensen has to be let go for attempting to murder a prisoner. They have standards after all.

Back home, the gang members find themselves restive in civilian life. Christmas, a whiz with a knife, is especially irked that his girlfriend Lacy (Charisma Carpenter), inexplicably peeved at his disappearing for months at a time with zero explanation, has taken up with someone who’s an even bigger lout than he is. I personally like this show a lot.. Worth your time to watch..

Everything started about 2 weeks ago where my Internet speed went down to less than 1mbps.. I am a 4mbps user, and I don’t think it is fair to pay for the price of 4mbps and I am having Internet browsing speed even less than 1mbps.. Everything started with a scheduled maintenance where I found out my IP was routed to Bayan Lepas, Penang.. Then today, it’s even slower, routed to Melaka.. I don’t think TM Streamyx need to know where and how do I get my IP geo location information, but that is the fact..

I have always been giving positive and good review about your UniPack service, and is this the way to repay a loyal customer? I really doubt your company management skills. Case not even solved after so long, by passing me around to different department.

I even experienced poor customer service from them as some of the customer care consultant was rather being rude, or not knowledgeable enough to answers my queries. If you are not trained, and I am a 4mbps users, why are you so reluctant to transfer my call to the higher level or 4mbps specialized team. And when I called in the night, one of them claimed that “Night Shift Specialist”, I felt shameful for you calling yourself that because you cannot even simply understand what is “RESET PORT” and some simple terms like “MY IP WAS ROUTED TO MELAKA”.. do you really call this technical support when you cannot even answer simple questions ?

Here’s how you should do it. Ignore any settings / manual configuration from else where before today’s date.. These settings are all updated as of 11th August 2010 – 11PM (GMT +8). All settings are verified by Maxis Service Center – Advanced Troubleshooting Department. Here how you should do it..

Step-by-Step Instruction
Go to: Settings > Wireless and Networks Settings > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names

Step 1: Create a new APN Profile
Step 2: Fill name as “Maxis 3G”
Step 3: Fill APN as “unet” (if you are a non-3G user, change to “net”)
Step 4: Fill Proxy as “202.75.133.49″
Step 5: Fill Port as “80″
Step 6: Fill Username as “maxis”
Step 7: Fill Password as “wap”
Step 8: Fill MMSC as “http://172.16.74.100:10021/mmsc”
Step 9: Fill MMS Proxy as “202.75.133.49″
Step 10: Fill MMS Port as “80″

Other fields leave blank / default value

Step 11: Save your Maxis 3G APN Profile. When you return to the previous screen, make sure Maxis 3G is selected and enabled (Green Radio Button indicated)

Looking at all the updates, it wasn’t anything easy though. Thanks for making it happen. To get Froyo running on your HTC HD2, you should have the three following requirements:

1. HSPL Installed (this should be installed on your PC to install the Radio ROM on to your phone)
2. Radio ROM at least 2.08 or and above
3. Lastly, copy the ANDROID folder into your SD Card.. (Run CLRCAD.exe then only HARET.exe)

Note: CLRCAD.exe is to enable sound / audio when you boot through HARET.exe into Froyo 2.2

As compared to Windows Mobile OS, Android Froyo 2.2 is damn efficient in power consumption.. Way way better.. I hope Windows Mobile 7 will be better..

I went to saloon after that with kahkoon. Spent nearly 2 hours there. Wow!! Such a long time. Edward was the new hair stylist that did my hair. Got it short on the top and didn’t quite like it. Never mind. a new try after all. Not too drastic though. Kahkoon sent me home and i bet he was sicked. Anyway, went out with mom for supper.. SkyFire Browser that supports interactive Flash contents

I used to love SkyFire browser that it supports Flash content like video playback on the YouTube. But they have stopped service for their browser which needs to connect to their server to experience smooth streaming for video or any flash interactive contents. The cease of the service was targeted to the Asia Pacific region. I am disappointed to SkyFire. Since it is not functioning anymore, I would just uninstall it.. Goodbye and thank you SkyFire..

Well, today of course the same, picked dad to station and thank god he has his temporary car back.. Didn’t do much today except being in Klang office and evening went over to Nicole’s place.. Since we had late breakfast, we decided not to take lunch and the whole day ended just like that late evening. Well, i spent my time fine tuning MOG website during AI class since he was again reading the slides.. Reached home and bath.. Went out to Pasar Malam with kahkoon and had a chatting session until 10 then now started to blog.. Tomorrow is only 1 class man..!! 1 freaking AI class which he will be reading the slides again.. Let’s see what we will do tomorrow.. Nite peeps!!

Went back after the 2 hours long meeting and reached home around 6 + .. almost 7.. Went to PM to get some food before that and so this girl was so desperate that she was holding her notes studying while walking with her mom.. OMG.. at night went to PJ for dinner with Ken… Hhaha nice day though i had lots of stuff more to deal with. Good night people..
