BlackBerry Curve 8520 Unboxed

I would say BlackBerry is a very business-oriented phone, even more compared to the HTC HD2. For those who want to own a BlackBerry, you should always consider signing up the BlackBerry Internet Service. Without the BIS, it would just work as a normal phone. WiFi is not allowed in all other Social Network apps and in fact downloading the apps from the BlackBerry Apps World requires the connection from your service provider.

The ONLY you can customize for the WiFi is the Internet Browser. Let’s see the features loaded into this phone, or rather “Smart Phone”. The 2.0 megapixels camera was a great disappointment, the quality was too grainy and high-noise. But I love the social network apps and also the push-email function here. It keeps you up-to-date what ever your community is doing.

All BlackBerry phones are BBM-enabled, thus, IM-ing within your BB Community is Free of Charge. The BlackBerry Curve 8520 which just got it, was attached to the Celcom BIZ plan which I would say it’s fairly reasonable in pricing. As for the battery life, it’s much better compared to the HTC HD2. Although it is always connected to EDGE, the consumption is quite low and it lasts.
