Attention to Google Apps / Google Mail users,

Starting from 15 December, Google POP/SMTP server does not require SPA – Secure Password Authentication anymore. We have confirmed these with our sources from numerous big countries. You would face difficulties after doing a Send and Receive for your email account and the following error message might appear on your screen.

Some users may also experience slow loading into the inbox, a waiting time up to 10 seconds. Please be aware that this is not your machine / computer problem, this is caused by this sudden change in the SPA feature.

In order to resolve this for now, follow the steps below :

1. Click “TOOLS”
2. Select “OPTIONS”
3. Select “MAIL SETUP” tab and choose “E-MAIL ACCOUNTS …”
4. Double click on your E-Mail Account
5. Uncheck “Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)

PROBLEM SOLVES !!! Let us know if you face any difficulties ..
