Bandar Bukit Tinggi or more known as BBT by the Klang people. It’s a new township developed by WCT Land – leading property developer in Klang region. Well, don’t always think of the famous food in Klang is only Bak Kut Teh, they have got other hidden / humble restaurants too that serve good food.
Like this one in Lorong Batu Nilam, just a street behind WCT Land HQ, there is a Hainan restaurant serving nice and reasonably priced food. Every day, they have different special dishes and there are 2 dishes which you can get throughout the year- Hainan Pork Chop and Hainan Chicken Chop.

It’s is located opposite to a empty field.. Well, you might think, what is so special wit this Hainan restaurant. Oh by the way, if you are looking for them while you are driving, you might want to look for the chinese word on the signboard too – 隆月.. Right, back to the point. First, we know that Hainanese served nice and aromatic coffee, for their hot coffee (Kopi-O), they served in a typical small porcelain cup. And this cup is hot when you hold on the handler. The boss told us that, it’s a traditional method to keep the coffee hot whereby hot water are poured over the cup or rather soaked the cup in hot water only filled with coffee so that it’s always kept warm, not easily loosing its heat.
So, thumbs up to their coffee.. What goes best with the coffee ? It’s of course a toasted bread. Here at June Home Cooking, they don’t use the normal charcoal bread / wholemeal bread we always see, it’s a rounded bun, they toast it and stuffed with butter and kaya spread.. Awesome.. Also, you have try out their Mee Mamak.. You might find it even better than those in the Mamak store.. And their Singapore Mee Hon too..
- Kopi-O in the “Ngalat”.. Beware of the hot cup.. hehe – RM 1.20
- Iced Coffee .. Not too sweet or too much condensed-milk – RM 1.60
- Toasted bread ..
- It goes well with a hot cup of coffee
- Mee Mamak – you might find it even better than mamak store
- Mee Mamak – RM 5
So tell me what you think after you try it out, or have you tried it out before this? Share your experience with us. Read on my today full blog post later on tonight, click here.
