A Productive Day

I woke up quite late today. Due to the hypnotic effect after Actifed pill (JunFook thought me that term instead of saying drowsiness). I went wash up still and tried opening my eyes as BIG as possible.

Lunch was kinda bad, i cooked green peas and potato.. it was so ugly that I don’t dare to take a picture of it but yet i finished it. I continued my day with few things. I first finish my business proposal, then 1 review write up on Date Night and 2 articles write up on Adobe CS5 and Office Outlook.

Finally finished all of those, and I called it my day. Had some dessert for tea time and took a short nap

Highlight for me today is the CS5 launch in US, and I am looking forward over it. It will be happening in Asia Pacific Region – Malaysia at 13 April 2010 – 12PM.

The new Adobe CS5 is really a new breakthrough by the Adobe Corp. Anxiously, everyone was waiting during the last half an hour.

When it was launched, the live cast for approximately 36 minutes. If you missed it, no worries, log on to www.AdobeTV.com. The live casting was quite interesting and it was really an eye-opener for me that Adobe has developed such user-friendly platform. One thing stays in your mind after watching it, you do not need extensive coding knowledge or even zero, yet effects can still be produced and is more dynamic than ever.

Let’s take a look on Photoshop, this really caught my attention. It has smart selection that delete and get what is behind the scene (filling). For optimum editing effect like an arrow with dotted lines surrounding it, selection with and without dash dots circling it is possible.

You can also find more in Adobe Photoshop Extended. Mini bridge is one of the new panel inserted into it where you can browse the pictures and open them from just a click away.

Conversion of images between bits when saving it is also possible. Next is the, HDR toning, whereby contrast and the edges of the pictures can be flexibly enhanced.

Not only that, don’t have a SLR or DSLR ? That doesn’t mean that you can get your pictures of different lenses. With lens correction (preset lens profile), it can render your image from a normal flat lens to a fish-eye lens. It also has advanced noise reduction and drawing from Photohop CS5 is even easier if you have a tablet and a pen where you can control the opacity, strength and more.

Collaboration is always important especially when you work as a team. CS Review helps to collaborate with your team members. By putting comment over a production, and other members of your team would be able to see the comment made by another self. Isn’t it great ?

Adobe IN Design – it’s more like a simplified flash without coding and with Flash Catalyst, you can even create project from psd and illustrator raw files.

Using Production Premium which has one of the key component in it – Mercury Plackback Engine which is developed in 64-bits, meaning, it uses less ram and render more, enabling multitasking

In After Effects, you can also edit the videos effortlessly and even making one of those MTV Music Video where you get to stand in front of many videos playing at the back. It even comes with Speech Analysis.

The last thing of the night that caught my eyes, the CS Web Premium. I am a Web Developer and web authoring tools are just like my hands and legs. One of the products – Adobe Flash has iPhone as one of the publisher options which means it makes sure the flash content is viewable by iPhone’s now.

Dreamweaver too is now WP-integrated whereby editing php codes for your wordpress is now even easier. Dreamweaver live preview helps you too, to test out the links and all other navigation whether they are properly linked without executing them in a web browser.

Lastly, it is integrated with Browser Lab. It is an instant browser compatibility check, ranges from Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer on different platforms like, Windows, Linux, Apple and etc.

Flash content distributed over the website has also been monopolized by the new Flash Player 10.1. Flash player 10.1 holds 75 out of 100 top websites worldwide with rich-flash contents. In near future, Flash player 10.1 will be deployed into smartphones, androids and TVs so that you can bring your digital life to more lively.
