Grandma woke me up to send her to clinic in the morning.. just for normal check-ups then i went home and slept again until David woke me up LOL.. Grandma told me don’t have to accompany her. before i left house, i manage to fetch grandma back too. At least she doesn’t have to walk so much. There she go out again after that.

I reached class around 10.50 and we did maths in an OS class. Of course when he explained the deadlocks and the GUI / CLI i still paid attention to it for a while. Thanks to those who helped me out on NML assignment. It is now completed. I went home after class at 1230 right away and waited anxiously for the Streamyx guy – Abang Syah to come over. After that only went out for lunch. It was Thai Lunch @ Kepong Baru

Anyway, speaking of him, he was very friendly though.. But one thing, i only got 1.7mbps instead of 4, coz the phone line port was mis-configured to accept only connection up to 2mb but the streamyx port ws configured properly for supporting up to 4mbps. So for more information about this 4mbps Student Package which i only pay RM 100 per month, check here out.

Of course, few things needed to be changed after installation: 1 Streamyx Access Password – https://tmbill.tm.net.my/SelfCare/Maintenance/selfcareLogin.jsp and also type in http://192.168.1.1 – username: tmadmin; password: tmbusiness (for the model shown in pictures below only)

That’s all for today. short one.. continue my assignment though .. me and ZH’s deadline @ 10PM .. i think i can manage to get it done by then.. hopefully

  4. Adrian says:

  5. jolene says:

are you saying tat you allowed him to finish the activation eventhough you can’t get 4mpbs?

  6. Adrian says:

@Jolene it’s not his problem. he activated for me as 4mbps.. i saw that with my own eyes. just that TM did a mistake on the phone line port which was configured to 1 only.. hmmm so that’s why.. anyway i shall expect full speed this evening.. LOL

  7. jolene says:

he as installer, he can call back to tm to do the settings. but if your line can support up to 2mb only, no matter how high he set, you won’t get it or you’ll get intermittent disconnection. some places can apply but cannot get it at physical site.

  8. Adrian says:

@Jolene Haha guess you are quite technical. You are right. But I do understand they play different roles though. The installer was the nicest by far I know. So I was the one who saw him set for me 4mb in the activation, now is the TM hq system doesn’t tally with his settings.

Haha.. I am happy that have readers like you to look into technical problem like u do

  12. Adrian says:

haha sure sure.. share with them. i think they shud get a Innacomm modem rather than ringer which always DC xD

  13. daeds says:

Just wondering, as I am also an Innacomm Wireless Modem user given by Streamyx, were you able to access your modem router admin page via wireless or via LAN only?

I can’t seem to get to 192.168.1.1 and it’s making me sad ;[

Found your page while googling this issue!

  14. Adrian says:

    Daeds,

Well, its quite sad.. for security reason, the router can only be configured via LAN… WiFi access to the default gateway 192.168.1.1 is not possible
