Kijal – Kuala Terengganu – Day 2

We have got 2 breakfast buffet voucher for each day of 2 persons. So dad and brother decided to go for the first day. And yeah mom and I will be having it tomorrow morning. I was feeling unwell in the morning so I continued sleeping. It wouldn’t be a problem if four of us go down. Mom accompanied me in the room. I took plain bread for breakfast. Had quite a bad soar throat.

So yeah for today, it will be from Kijal all the way to Kuala Terengganu. It’s about 130km drive. I tell you!! The speed limit sucks, and I saw road blocks. It can go as low as 50kmh only. How it world is people gonna drive at that speed. But somehow everyone abide to it. So I did too!! Pathetically we had Nasi Kandar for lunch after long finding of Nasi Dagang which it closed in the afternoon (maybe still kinda early). I was using the Opera Mini on my phone to check on it.

Before reaching Kuala Terengganu, we stopped by a few places like Kelulut (where the famous Lekor Goreng) and also Air Nira (extract from the coconut). In the kuala Terengganu town, near to the Jeti, we saw a stall at the roadside selling, Pisang Goreng, Tapai Goreng (ubi), and some other fried finger food. It was damn cheap. 2 bucks for a whole full of packet.

Went to China Town too and guess what we found. Bak Kut Teh Terengganu. xD And a temple here haha.. I can conclude one thing after 2 days being here. Terengganu is a peaceful town and not for anyone expecting excitement like we had in KL town. It’s best for relaxing and enjoying the natural scenaries

Headed back after lunch. It was quite long drive although it was only 80kmh. Took about 2 hours more or less due to the speed there. Bro and dad went down for pool and mom went up for a rest. I am now writing here in the lobby and called kahkoon and david for talk. Then start to have nose-sensitivity. A terrible one this time it’s kinda embarrassing I can’t stop sneezing here. So I went up to the room and slept. David just cant stop kacau-ing (shh I din say this) So yeah will continue about dinner later.

It was the same restaurant again. Grand View Café. We ordered something what Chinese called (big-fried – 大炒). Got mun yee min, gong fu chao, fried rice and a xiu bak choi (pardon the translation into English, I wasn’t really good about that. Mom helped me out.
After dinner, me and mom walked around the hotel compound and found out Bank Negara was having a dinner in the ballroom. No doubt the sound systems were great. So anyone in Kijal who wants to host a dinner function or any relevant event. Come here, I bet it would be a memorable night for you.

Gonna sleep now. Was eating what we bought this afternoon. Took an Actifed (flu tablet) and now heading to bed. Buffet breakfast tomorrow morning, wait for me and my mom.. Here we come.!!!! Oh yeah, hope we are not gonna have a packed one as we saw many students are staying over here (just checked-in today) – for their standard 6 vacation; how lovely.. small kids .. i was once upon a time. Ok forget bout it. i am not that all though
