Jogoya @ Starhill Gallery Kuala Lumpur

August 28, 2009 | With: APIIT, AndyL, David, Zeng Hoong, ZhengSi

after a long discussion with zenghoong the night before, we made up our mind and decided to join david and others to go buffet dinner at Jogoya.. haha after the division among 6 of us which includes the two couples (andy and david), and hoong, each paid 78 after tax and found it was worth it. Despite all the hassle we made to get to Starhill, but the nice food made our day. or should i said made hoong’s day.. our emoness all just faded and happily eat out.

it took us 2 hours to reach there from APIIT and this was the worst jam ever i had for such a near destination. Let’s get it started talking when we reached the parking.. they have two guards: one checking with a mirror under my car and another one checked my boot. of coz i had to follow him down to make sure nothing missing as my notebook is at the back of my car. that shows this building is kinda secured or shud i say highly secured. we parked and went to Jogoya at the Relish.

Start eating.. me and hoong is still not warmed up yet.. i was quite frustrated with the jam i had and the cars who cut into my lane just like that. after the two couples were back taking food we went around and explored the whole outlet. it was kinda big and i think it would be better if we are seated outside near to the food. our seat were like closed up in a room. anyway, we started with fruits, then western, then japanese, then dessert then everything. and we were all so bloated and could hardly breath in hardly and laugh loudly. but it was fun. the fun part was when we took all the ice cream. it was divided into 2 sections, the section that i went, the waiter was quite nice gave me each flavor with one scope. (7 x 1 flavor = 7 flavors). for zenghoong’s wise, it was a bit pathetic, the waitress over that side didn’t want to give so many, limited to 2 only. WTF..

overall the service was not that good that i expected for the price we paid for. but it was the fun of togetherness and the food.. japanese food has always been not my preference but this is the second time i eat with my friends (i mean buffet style – first with edmund’s gang at saisaki).. i din gag this time eating the raw salmon.

We left at 9.30 and i reached home 10+.. and now just bath and blogging.. anyway gonna sleep soon. i took a cup of lime tea and felt much better now..
